From the villages on Lake Garda to amusement parks, hiking, and tastings of local wines and typical products. Don’t miss a visit to the Garda Moreniche Hills, a hilly area located south of the lake, home to numerous events and festivals, including the Festival of the Morenici Hills, the Sagra di San Gaetano in Ponti sul Mincio, and the Palio della Capra d’Oro in Cavriana, as well as food and wine walks like Cammina Custoza. Castiglione’s participation in the Comunità del Garda, the organization responsible for managing and promoting tourism in the area, is also important.

Discovering Castiglione

Palazzo Cavalieri is located in the center of Castiglione delle Stiviere. From here, it's easy to explore the village and its historic center. There are many reasons to visit: the Sanctuary of San Luigi Gonzaga, patron saint of youth, which houses his relics. The International Red Cross Museum, inaugurated on the centenary of the Battle of Solferino, is another place of great interest, as is Palazzo Bondoni Pastorio, a venue for exhibitions and a documentation center on local history. Historic squares such as Piazza Dallò and characteristic fountains are also abundant, earning it the nickname "the town of fountains."

Garda's parks offer a wide range of entertainment for all ages, from theme parks to water parks and nature parks. Among the most famous are Gardaland, Italy's largest amusement park, and Canevaworld, with its two parks, Movieland and Caneva Aquapark. You can also visit Sigurtà Garden Park, an oasis of natural beauty, and Parco Natura Viva, a safari zoo.
